Countervail is a private, on-device incident journal.
All journal data stays on the device in the app's local storage. Countervail does not use accounts, cloud sync, or a server-side database.
Face ID or the device passcode protects access to the app. This does not protect content after you copy it out of the app, such as via a screenshot.
Deleting an entry removes it from the app's local database. Copies that already exist elsewhere are not controlled by the app.
